About

The HMS Electron Microscopy Facility was created in 1995 as a joint venture between the Neurobiology, Microbiology, and Cell Biology departments. The core is funded mainly by user fees.  Its mission is to provide HMS and the Longwood medical area’s research community with both equipment and expertise in ultra-structural studies. 

Location: Goldenson Building 323, 220 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115

Hours:
The Facility is open Monday - Friday 9AM  –  5:30 PM.

Sample Drop-off is 9AM - 12PM.

Sample Submission:
Please make an Order in PPMS before bringing samples. If you do not have a PPMS account contact staff for further instructions.

Clearly label all samples to match the labels in the form.
